Coastal Haven Realty allows tenants to make payments online via their portal. They also have the ability to provide certified funds in our office. Once funds have cleared, your disbursement will be provided to you via electronic deposit on/around the 10th of each month.
Yes, Coastal Haven Realty will require all tenant's to go through our screening service via our website. The screening process covers a variety of evaluations such as proof of income, credit check, eviction history, and past rental verifications, if applicable.
Coastal Haven Realty recommends reaching out to your current insurance company to understand what insurance policies make the most sense for your specific needs. Insurance is a requirement for each landlord and property, per the Property Management Agreement.
Our staff will provide you with a Landlord Move Out Checklist, however, we recommend having any small and large repairs handled sooner than later. This may include repairing the ice maker if not properly working, or ensuring transition floor pieces are secured correctly. While items such as professional carpet cleaning are required to be completed upon vacancy, maid service is optional; however, our staff will always encourage maid service as it provides a level of expectation that the tenant must maintain upon their vacancy.
Coastal Haven Realty will effectively communicate with the landlord when rent is late and what the next steps will be for potential summary ejectment hearings. Our staff will not proceed with eviction hearings without approval from the landlord of each specific property.
